Scriptish writing to config and script files depending on browser

Reported by Scriptish | September 18th, 2011 @ 09:53 PM

I got a couple of computers and I sync my userscripts and settings by junctioning the scriptish_scripts folder to my Dropbox, meaning that scripts updated on one computer will also be updated on the other machines.

This is a good and working solution but there is one small annoyance: even if I change no settings or modify/add/remove any scripts there is a popup when I start Firefox that all my scripts have been modified. The config.xml file is also changed, as Dropbox constantly reminds me. This occasionally has caused in conflicted copies, but usually I only have one computer running at any time so it's not a big issue for me.

I used to use Greasemonkey, and I didn't get these messages then.

Could this behaviour be modified, could I do something about it or should I consider changing the way I sync?
