Need to be able to supress warnings to Firebug

Reported by raveren | September 23rd, 2011 @ 12:10 AM | in Bug Crushing

GM_OpenInTab now focuses the newly opened tab, which brakes some scripts.

Shit like
[YouTubeTitleAdder@Smiths] "return" from the main scope is not generally supported. You should fix that in your user script. return;
is shown in firebug even though the corresponding options are off.

    I'm sorry I'm not sure what the problem is. Can you provide some code with a explanation of what you expect and what happens please?

    I don't understand how this breaks anything.. Scriptish and GM use the same code, except Scriptish is adding a extra optional arg for reusing tabs which have no effect./

    That is merely a warning that the user script is written poorly, the script should continue to execute correctly..

    that is a firebug issue.

    This annoys me to no end. And there's no easy way to revert all the scripts and their settings back to greasemonkey. Ungh.

    "Log not critical extension messages to error console" in Scriptish settings.

    IIRC, I saw the offending error message text in the scriptish github source, so it's an error that scriptish throws.

    I'm a web developer and having the firebug console constantly filled with warnings is a huge nuisance.

    I'll open this up again, there probably is something that can be done to suppress those warnings.

    I don't know if this will help?

    I upgraded to FF 9.0.1 and Firebug 1.9.0, now I have to use psychic powers to figure out what's gone wrong with my code.

    I've tried fiddling with all the options in Firebug, yet I cannot see one which aught to say, "show fatal script errors like I used to".

    I'm having to now use FF console.
