scriptish doesn't install on seamonkey 2.4.* but works fine if modified.

Reported by Vincent Cojot | September 30th, 2011 @ 04:05 AM

Provide the following information:

  1. Linux RHEL5.7 on x86_64
  2. seamonkey 2.4 and 2.4.1
  3. 0.15.1
  4. en-US
  5. Clear steps to reproduce the bug (including a reduced-case user script, if applicable):

Tring to install scriptish on SM 2.4 or upgrading to SM 2.4 causes the add-on to become disabled (install.rdf only allows up to seamonkey 2.3.x).

  1. A description of what you expected to happen
  2. A description of what actually happened

I edited install.rdf in the scriptish 0.15 .xpi to allow SM 2.4.x and the 'new' version re-installed just fine. Also it appears to work fine so far with the limited testing I've been doing.
You might consider issuing a 0.15.1 'official' release to prevent that from happening when people start upgrading to SM 2.4 (or to FF 7, for example).

Best regards,
